BlueStar 2010 with after market radio

Just a question, is the BlueStar 2010 compatible with after market radios? I know they make steering wheel control adapters that enable you to change the volume, etc. with your steering wheel, but how would this affect the BlueStar integration? Seems like a great product. Thanks. This would be for a 2007 Chevy Impala LT, most likely a JVC double din receiver.

Typically if onstar still works, so will bluestar.
But you usually have to have a few adapters to retain chimes, and onstar functionality when using an aftermarket head unit.
