New phone doesn't connect automatically

Hi I'm hoping someone can help me. I have bluestar installed in my Buick Enclave my phone was set up with it and working fine, it would automatically connect everytime I got in the car. Then my phone broke and Sprint sent me a new phone, it is the exact same model. When I got into my car with it I was never prompted to set up the new phone and I am not sure how to do it. If I go through the phones settings menu I can get the phone to connect but I have to do it everytime I get in the car which is a real pain. I cannot get it to connect automatically. The Sprint store told me to erase all phones from the bluestars memory and I saw on this forum that someone said to do that you just have to hold in the red button on the rearview mirror, the problem is I do not have a red button on my mirror. The only button with red has a red cross that was the help button for onstar, when I press that now it just adjusts the volume. Does anyone have any advice?? Thanks.

Press and hold RED mirror button for 7-10 seconds.
That will erase the bluestar memory and will allow you to pair your new cell.
