Updating

I know this is going to be a stupid question, but how do I update my unit? Do I need to remove the Costar from the car each time? I tried searching, but could not find anything.

I'd recommend hooking up a USB cable to it so that you can update it easier, just leave it connected and in a place that you can access it easier.

Can I use a Mac? If not, and I don't own a PC, any other way of doing it?

Unfortunately, the CPU program runs only on windows based machines. We have yet to port it to MAC.
You can always send it in for reprogramming free of charge, or borrow a friends machine with windows.

How do I go about sending it in? Any special instructions?

Thanks

Send an email to tech support, and they will issue an RMA for you to return it against.
