2007 Tahoe LTZ

I've been looking for the Onstar Box in my Tahoe and am having difficulty finding it.

Any recommendations would be helpful.

Thanks,

Tony

Like all avalanche, escalade, suburban, tahoe, and yukons of that vintage, the onstar box is located in the center of the dash behind the HVAC controls.
You can email techsupport for a drawing.

I just installed my costar in my 2008 Tahoe, which has navi, you can look on you tube and find the video to demo the removal of the faceplate around the radio,a/c controls the bank of buttons below the temp controls. the xm module is located on the bottom and is silver with a Contential sticker on it, it is extremely tight but even with my big hands I got it out removed J1 & J2 pushed those two cables behind the unit reinstalled everything and placed the costar basically on the floor board hidden behind the center console, and it works like a charm,

I removed radio/nav from 2008 tahoe then pushed tabs on right and left of onstar Module (both broke) then lowered dash pocket door got more slack to get out the module. I then unwrapped some black tape to separate the two wire connectors I needed to connect to bluestar then hooked them to bluestar then slid the bluestar unit through through slot in back and let it droop down toward driver side. Then replaced the onstar back in place. All works well except a skinned knuckle

I have a 2007 Chevy Tahow LTZ w/navigation, bose system, and rear camera. If I install the bluestar for bluetooth connectibility, will this disable my navigation and rear camera features? Thanks for any help or replies.

satellite radio/Navigation uses a different cable than OnStar, although both are hooked up to the same shark fin that sits atop the roof. I had to replace my fin to update navigation/satellite radio in my 07 Avalanche.
