I have an on star mirror, my option is probably going to be a parrot kit. Sorry for the harsh remarks but I have been screwed over by a few places online before.

No problem. I understand that it can be frustrating not to have a call in number. We just don't have enough bandwidth to support that now. In over three years business, we have not screwed anyone out of their money. Our 30 day money back guarantee is real and is a testament to how we stand behind the product and try to do business. We will even take product back up to 60 days for a small restocking fee. We realize that the lack of phone support is an issue to some people and we try to compensate by having the best return policy in the business so that people can feel comfortable when ordering.

We don't do much advertising and exist pretty much by word of mouth, that is why we run the business the way we do, and we take it very personally when we get a customer who is not happy.

If you haven't already, please contact techsupport for an RMA number so we can get your unit back and process your return. Although we can't guarantee that the bluestar will work in every application, we can guarantee that if it doesnt, we will do our best to make it work, or your money back.

Thanks for understanding and sorry it did not work for you. Good luck with the Parrot or whatever solution you end up with.

I threw out the box right after I installed it because it seemed to be working properly. Is this going to be a problem returning it?

In my instance, the old BlueStar PnP unit was utilized in an 2005 Cadillac Escalade. An error occurred and the code somehow shot to the DIC (Digital Information Center) one random day. No telling what was the actual trigger. Fortunately i was under extended warranty for my truck so the dealer took the car in no questions asked. Upon attempting to clear the error code, the tech got a code back saying the ONSTAR onboard was not communicating properly with the diagnostic tool. He then explored the glove box and noticed the ONSTAR had been unplugged and a 3rd party unit was placed in lieu as a bypass. He instructed the Service adviser who asked me to come down and explain the unit.

They asked me to unplug the BlueStar unit after which the tech took over, plugging back in ONSTAR and getting to the diagnostics tool to clear the code. I believe a part was replaced to assist with the stability Code error. The tech felt that the ONSTAR replacement was NOT the cause of the error code. I was told it was just time something failed due to age as the excuse. I didn't discuss any further as the warranty covered my service. Hope that helps a little.
