How do I find out what version of software/firmware is on my BlueStar 2010?

The only way to do this currently is to use the CoSTAR Programming Utility from the website.

Units are always shipped with the latest release code, so if you just got it, it has 11-0401 installed.

Are all hardware versions the same?

Yes, The bluestar 2010 models have shipped with the same hardware since its original release. There have been several software releases.
