Hummer Alpha 2008

Hummer Alpha 2008

Postby Nicolas » June 9th, 2011, 10:40 pm

I bought for my wife a nice H3 Alpha.
I had the moonson stereo system with the 6 Cd charger on the front
I hated the Onstar
I discovered the BLUESTAR, ordered it. It took only a week to get it.
I received it.
Believe it or not, it took me less than 5 minutes to install it and make it work.
So easy in the H3, put your fingers on the 2 holes of the 12 volts plugs on the front. Pull, it will come very easily.
Then unplug the 2 connectors from the VCIM, located below the stereo. YOU DONT HAVE TO remove the stereo at all to do it.
Then plug the BLUESTAR module on those 2 connectors.
put the panel back..
All set !!
could not be easier.
even a 12 years old kid can do it.
First time I see something so easy to install.

I could test it, it worked immediately, i did not even change any setting.
My wife is very happy with it. 2nd day she has the BLUESTAR in the H3.

The best solution, no wire modification. Nothing.
Great value for the price.
Thanks Costar !!!!

When do you bring the solution for the A2DP?
That will be the cherry on the cake !!!
Thank you again.

For 2008, HUMMER has addressed one of the sticking points many people have had with the smaller H3 model, namely, the lack of a V8 engine. While the 3.7L inline 5 has adequate power to shuttle the H3 around, the burble of a V8's exhaust note and the associated extra thrust would certainly have been more in keeping with the brand image created by the monster-sized H1 and solidified by the more-realistic H2.
