Mic Works, No Sound Through Speakers

I have a 2008 Yukon Denali which I just installed a new BlueStar 2010 with the latest firmware (12-0718)

- I am able to pair an iPhone 4S and iPhone 5 to the device
- Siri works perfectly (I can hear her talk through vehicle speakers and she can hear me)
- Incoming phone calls show up on CallerID, mute the radio and ring through the vehicle speakers
- I am able to answer calls with the button on the mirror
- The person on the other end can hear me perfectly
- PROBLEM: I cannot hear the caller, the audio does not come through the vehicle sound system

I've tried this with both iPhones and have had the same problem.

Has anyone else had this experience or advice on how to fix this?

Hi Eric,
Have you tried adjusting the volume?
Press the RED mirror button for a second, then press the blue button to increase (white button to decrease) the volume. You should hear beep tones when doing this. If not, could be something wrong with your unit.
Red button will save setting once you get it adjusted right.
If you are still having trouble, send an email to techsupport for further trouble shooting.

I have a 2007 Avalanch with similar problem after just installing 2010 Blue star!

am confused about red and blue buttons as I have a factory mirror with a red cross but no blue buttons??

Hi Ed,

It turns out it is an iPhone5 & BlueStar2010 problem for us...check out this thread for more details:

I find that hard to believe it is a iPhone 5 issues. I have an iPhone 5 with iOS 6.0.1 on A&T and have no issues.

I have the latest BlueStar firmware and it works great with my iPhone 4S on AT&T.

Using the same BlueStar, my wife has an iPhone5 with 6.0.1 on Verizon and it doesn't receive inbound calls on the BlueStar, but outbound work great.

If you have an iPhone5 on AT&T that works, then perhaps it has something to do with Verizon configurations?
