2006 CTS-V i-Phone 4 disconnect issue.

I have an issue with my phone staying connected when voice dialing. When I press the mirror button the voice dial from the phone works then as the phone is making the call Bluestar drops out. After the drop the phone will not connect to the Bluetar untill It has been re-paired. Then the connection is tenuous at best. Most days it takes 5 -10 minutes to connect and make a call. Normally it will drop at least 3 times before a good connection. Any suggestions?

Tried updating the Costar today, but the Costar would not connect to the computer. Any tips and tricks?

when you hooked up the Bluestar to your computer via USB did you get a popup saying your device was ready to use? If not you may need to download the drivers onto your computer first.

I just purchased a 2007 CTS-V so it is the same model/series that you have (2006-07 CTS-V). I love the car but was disappointed to learn that you cannot use Bluetooth with the OnStar system in the GM Bose/Nav system. I came across the CoStar website and am contemplating purchasing a unit. Did you ever get all your issues worked out? How do you like the unit? Other than for no OnStar what other features of the Audio/Nav system did you lose?
