OK, we are finally starting to get back into the software release mode.
Available now for beta test is a new version of CLASS2 operation that really improves muting functions. We finally tracked down the bug released in 11-0401 and now the CLASS2 vehicles should mute very fast and very reliable, like the GMLAN counterpart. We've also added a new feature for software resetting the device in the field after DSP programming so that the unit will no longer need to be power cycled or unplugged after DSP programming. This is kind of important because the next release will require update to the DSP code for all users who wish to take advantage of audio streaming, and pbab. (phone book access).

Before this however, we wish to release a version of code for the GMLAN Navigation users so that they can dial using the nav keypad, or if numbers are stored, they can dial directly.
This should not be too difficult to achieve as most of the bus decoding has been completed.

Then comes A2DP and PBAP. We really hoped to get all this released by SEMA show November 1 and are trying hard to make this happen.

Finally, CLASS2 will be revisited to get caller ID and PBAP and nav dialing working. I tried to talk the owners into buying a C6 corvette to work on, but they are waiting to see how much interest is generated at the show before splurging on this.

If anyone is interested in trying the beta version drop me an email at techsupport@costartech.com we can get that right out.

Thanks for using the BlueSTAR

What is going on with A2DP? Are they getting closer in creating a working A2DP with bluestar 2010?
