2008 Cadillac CTS

Just got my unit installed a few days ago and I am noticing 2 things.
First, I do not see any caller ID or phone number info displayed on the screen in my car.
Second, there is some call quality issues where after about 1 minute into a call the caller breaks up to the point where we can't hear each other.
Is there any documentation or tricks that I can try to fix these issues?
