Bluestar no longer voice dails

I installed the Bluestar into my Pontiac and it worked without any issues. I discovered that I could do voice dialing on my Droid X. After a couple weeks the unit no longer responds when I depress the phone button on the mirror. I know the button works because I am able to pick up using it for an incoming call. I removed the Bluestar unit to verify it has the current firmware, which it does (BES_0401). Also is the unit suppose to get power all the time even when the key is off?

thanks,

Scott

How long the power lasts is vehicle specific, should cut out when the door is opened or the vehicles preset time elapses (around 10 minutes I believe).

For the call function, the latest update made it so that you need to press and hold the call button instead of just a quick press. This was done to re-enable the radio mute feature when not on a call.

See if that helps.

Thank you for the reply, I have found that if I launch the voice dial app on the droid that a simple press of the button works for the next few calls. I did try to hold just a little longer and it did nothing and if I held it to long it would redial the last number called.
