System Lock

Had a new issues pop up the last few weeks. I have an 03 Denali with the bluestar unit in place for 3 month now. I have experienced the occasion drop when answering with the talking mouth button and the bluestar not recognizing the phone is still on, but recently I have noticed that anytime I have calls running in succession, (i.e. on call, then hang-up and dial new call) the unit has been locking up. The side effects of the lockup has been no response from the mirror buttons (led may be either red or green) and the instrument panel will flash for a second then the "stability control disabled" will pop up on dash panel with warning lights. Once I stop the vehicle and turn off the power completely the unit resets and all warning lights and indications become normal. I've been able to repeat this three times now (by hang-up of current call, then start a new call). It is as if the radio has an issue with switching between phone mode and radio mode to quickly it causes the lockup, of course the traction control error is somewhat concerning. I've disconnected the bluestar unit and replugged the OnStar back in so as to ensure I'm not dealing with another issue. When on OnStar I cannot get the error to happen again, so at first impression, it is something originating with the bluestar unit. Any tips? Is there any way to log the actions to send for troubleshooting? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

 :D

By the way, the phone is Iphone 4 and the radio is the stock Bose system that came with the Denali.

Wow. you just blew my mind. I have a 2007 trailblazer witht he stock Bose stero (6-disk in dash). The phone is a Sprint Android 2.2 (EVO Shift). Since installation of the bluestar, I have had at least 3 instances where the stabilitrac warning light has come on, but I never made a connection between the bluestar and the stabilitrac warning. I will definitely pay attention to the state of the bluestar next time I get the stabilitrac error. Frankly, the lockup happens so frewquently now that I would be willing to bet the bluestar was locked up when the stabilitrac came on.

Are you having any other connection problems or lockups (see below)?

I had another lockup today. Got into my car this morning (car was off for more than 12 hours). Phone would not auto connect, there was a slow red blink (one blink every 10 or more seoconds?). I held the Red button for 10 seconds to reset the unit. This puts the unit in pairing mode, and I delete the profile from my phone, repair, enter the passcode, and the unit works well.

I went to work, turned off the car for about 8 hours. When I got in the car to go home, the unit was locked up: no lights on the mirror, no response to button pushes (shortpushed, long pushed, nothign). I unplugged the bluestar from the wire harness, replugged, forced the phone to connect to the bluestar by going into settings. then the unit works fine again, made a call on the way home. I describe this previously in the "I lose Signal on the BS" thread.

**Edit - After writing this post, I went out. got in the car, the unit auto-connected like it should. Turned off the car and walked into a convenience store, left the phone in the car. 3 mintues later, started the car, the unit locked up. Could not connect even manually. The LED on teh box was green. Had to pull the plug, manually connect, and the unit worked fine. Got to my destination, 3 hours later left and the unit auto-connected correctly.

Again, I love htis unit when its working, but this is getting to be cumbersome, and requiring a reset of some sort (either long push or harness unplug) every-other-day on average. I would be happy to help diagnose/troubleshoot the problem, email in logs form the unit, whatever it takes. Please advise.
