Samsung Fascinate outgoing calls do not dial !!!!

When connected with my Verizon Samsung Galaxy (Fascinate), I cannot dial out. I can receive calls just fine.
Whats up with that?
It just Fascinates me that it won't call out.

I have some problems too with the fascinate dialing. I moved the voice command app to my home page and use it to dial and it works well. Its about the only thing the bluestar does well for me. I have had mine over a year and would pay for someone who knows what they're doing (or send it back to the factory for them to do and pay them) to set mine up with the latest program verson. but alas all I ever get is an endless chain of emails. i guess its just not meant for me.
