What is going on?

I just received delivery of the Bluestar for my 2008 hummer h3 and installed it last night. I was able to make one phone call this morning and then the unit disconnected and the light on the mirror went out. After restarting the car the phone (Droid Razr Maxx with latest droid version) connected none of the buttons worked and then the phone dropped from the connection. The light on the mirror went out and when i would press any button it would turn on red for one second and then go off. when I got home I checked and all the cables were tight and the light was green on the unit.

what is going on with the unit?

I had similar problems and it was my wifes phone. I had the same phone, so I pared it and all is well. Maybe try a different phone. good lucl.
