Not pairing automatically

My blustar and my phone don't seem to comunicate all of the time. When i start the truck the red light will blink even though my bluetooth is enabled on my phone. When this happens i go into settings, wireless and networks, bluetooth settings and in there it says bluestar II *paired but not connected*. I touch the screen then it pairs. i thought maybe it was my droid X acting up but it pairs fine with my factory Jeep radio.

Other than that it works awesome. Anybody have anything i can try????

Droid X phone. 2010 Chevy Colorado.

thanks!

Mine does the same thing. Each time I enter the vehicle it wont re-pair and I have to go in and manually pair it. Mine is an iPhone 4 runninig 5.1

Hi Bigtime,
For quickest response, its best to email techsupport.

The BlueSTAR listens to the ignition codes on power up to switch into linking mode.
We are probably going to modify this with something that comes out more often (instead of just once which can be missed if the BlueSTAR is busy doing something else at the time). This should improve the auto connect reliability.

We also have some new code coming out that improves CLASS2 communications and adds name based caller ID.
