After dead battery how to get things working again?

Now that the Cadillac is started again after the dead battery I have some more problems. I have had the Cadillac off for 20 minutes and my phone is still paired with the bluestar out in the garage. The onstar lights are also on. Since the bluestar is never turning off even with the vehicle off this is probably the reason for the battery drain.
Things also are no longer working for making calls. Here is what is happening and what I have tried:
- The phone immediately connects via bluetooth to the bluestar.
- Placing a call from the phone or receiving a call does not cause the radio to ring.
- Pressing the answer button on the onstar does nothing.
- If you answer the phone manually the phone IS in bluetooth mode, meaning you cannot talk to the person until you switch it from bluetooth to the handset.
- Holding down the mute (red button) for 20 seconds does not erase the units memory.
- Holding down the multifunction button does not disconnect the phone from the bluestar.
- Tried unpairing from the bluestar
- Tried holding red button for 20 seconds
- Tried repairing with the bluestar
I hope there is a way to get it working again.
