Volume and Choppy questions?
Posted: April 22nd, 2012, 12:11 amI have a 2006 Cadillac XLR and I have installed the Bluestar unit. I checked the firmware and it has version 11-04 on it. I have two problems and one additional question. My phone is a Android Galaxy Nexus. This phone works perfectly with bluetooth stereos in two other vehicles that I have.
1. During a call using the steering wheel controls to turn the volume up and down (or the radio volume knob) does nothing at all. I can turn the volume up and down using the volume button on my phone. What do I need to do to be able to use the steering wheel controls to adjust the volume? Would one of your beta firmwares fix this and if so which one?
2. When I am speaking to my wife on the phone she sounds great. She says that I sound choppy on her end. I have called a few other people and they say the same thing. Using the computer program what settings should I adjust to make things sound clearer on the other end?
