Bluetooth not connecting

I love the unit and it works 90% of the time but there is times when I remote start the car, enter the vehicle and the green light keeps blinking because the bluetooth does not connect. I have a 2009 vibe and an EVO 4g (Sprint) phone rooted.
I've reset the phone several times and it still did not connect. A few times I unplugged the CoStar unit and after plugging it back in it worked.

I cannot identify the exact situation when it does not work but like I said, 90% of the time it works fine.

Any ideas?
