MODULE LOCKUP OVER AND OVER AND OVER..

I received our 1st Bluestar and installed in an 05 CTS with factory NAV and Bose. The Bluestar locks up at random and must be disconnected and reconnected. 2 days of driving this vehicle to and from work it has locked up every time. (solid red or green indicator and no response from buttons) The module is 3 days old, my question is with this being a new module does it ship with the latest and greatest software and firmware or does it still need to be updated? Im glad I install in the company vehicle first for quality control before attempting to offer to our clients..

Im thankful for any response I can get on this issue.

Hi,
It seems that some CLASS2 Cadillac's including the CTS (pre-2008) seems to prefer an older version of code.( Version 10-1028 posted on the website). You will not notice any functional difference with this version as updates have been to the GMLAN vehicles (adding caller ID and DIC control)
Please give this a try.
