A2DP Streaming **** BETA CODE ****

Would I see any benefit from using this beta code? I have a Pontiac G8.....it has a front aux jack already..that I can plug into the phone....just curious. Because my Bluestar unit and Onstar is in the trunk of the car. Would be a chore to run a cable to the front of the car to plug the 3.5mm jack into the unit.scruff24

I do know of at least one G8 owner using this feature.
It will allow you to stream wirelessly.
But you will have to run a wire from the bluestar in the trunk to the aux input of your radio.

Still love and support bluestar2010 100% but after using the new beta code for a few days these are a few issues that need to be worked out. On my 2007 Avalanche the following features have changed:

*When ignition is turned off bluestar immediately switches to cell phone for calls.
*Sound quality is still poor even after unit was sent in for a "step 4" upgrade. Bass is extremely high and volume is also incredibly loud.
*DIC and Radio both display phone numbers.
*DIC says what phone it is connected to when you turn ignition on, which is cool by the way, but overrides any DIC functions for about 30-45 seconds.

Let me know if it's just me or anyone else is experiencing these problems.

Did you complete the 4 step upgrade when you got it back? If you did not then do that and it should work. When I got mine back I didn't and had the same problem.

Looking at getting bluestar. When using A2DP does it show the name of the song on the GMLAN29 radio screen?

Easiest way is to open it up and look at the writing on the processor.
The only way it is a 32MB is if you purchased in very early 2010.
