Bluestar with 04 CTS

Bluestar with 04 CTS

Installed it yesterday. Simple to install, just 2 white plugs in the trunk.

Noticed while driving last night, I got the "hello" message on my radio, that you normally get when you start the car. I guess at least once, the factory radio seemed to 'reboot' with the hello message, but no big deal as the radio sound never stopped.
Today, I used the phone just fine. But when I hung up the call, I disconnected using the phone's red button. Ever since then, the onstar light has been solid red, even with the car turned off. Pairs fine, but the bluestar's not responding.
Had to unplug the plugs to reboot the bluestar 2010.

I have the latest firmware on the bluestar and the 2004 CTS is a class-2 vehicle.

Also, before unplugging it, I also tried holding the red mirror button to reboot it, but it never rebooted, and I had to open the trunk and unplug it to reboot it.

Well, taking the advice of others, I downgraded the firmware...
it seemed to work better, but the USB socket fell in the unit! now what!? i can never upgrade again!?
