I just installed in a 2004 Cadillac SRX with similar issues to those stated already. I probably disconnected and reconnected the bluestar 20 times with the 11-0401 trying to figure out how it works and several times I had to disconnect it for several minutes to unfreeze it. I downgraded the software and I am having much better results, but I have had the issue - other times I hear the radio mute as the call comes in - I can answer it with the white button - but the caller can't hear me and I can't hear them as an earlier poster.
I actually went out of my way to separate out the two white connectors so that I could reroute them to one of my under floor storage bins, because of the need to repeatedly unfreeze the unit. So I have easy access to my bluestar and am willing to trouble shoot and log.
