RFI - Ham radio triggers unit

Hi -

I am a HAM radio operator and have a 2M (144MHz) / 440 MHz radio in my car.
I have not tried 440, but on 2M a transmission sometimes triggers the unit as if I had pressed the call button.
The phone goes into "Please say a command" state.

I put a clip on ferrite sleeve on the cable bundle into the unit, but that didn't seem to help.

Any ideas?

Just wondering if there was any more info on this issue... I am a ham, too, and I just ordered a bluestar.

Any other hams out there using this?

Follow up - Transmit on my ham rig (Yaesu FT-2900R) does not trigger my Costar unit. I tried all power levels up to 75 watts.
Perhaps original poster was outputting stray RF due to faulty cable or connector.
Just my two cents...
