New BETA code posted

Version 14-0709 has been posted to the website

Changes:
1. It improves radio drop out for CLASS2 based vehicles, addressing an issue where the radio would drop out of onstar mode unbeknownst to the BlueSTAR.
This could happen randomly usually after several minutes of being on a call.

2. It addresses steering wheel voice dial bug, where voice dial only worked for a few minutes after wake up. (Some vehicles only)

Please post any comments regarding this update good or bad. Units are still shipping with 13-0506 installed until Beta program has ended.

I just received a new Moto Droid MAXX with KitKat and having problems where outgoing and incoming calls have no audio to or from the phone. I have tried a number of things on the phone, clearing cashe, un-pairing re pairing, safe mode running only factory apps, etc. Tried to upload latest beta file hoping it could help the problem but costar says it upgraded to latest but still shows 13-0506E in version line.

Any ideas? Thanks....

Found it. Will test out soon as I was having a major problem with steering wheel controls.

Fingers crossed , after almost a year, my steering wheel control/mute button finally works again for voicedial. Prior to the 13-0506 update and A2DP update, I was able to voicedial using the mute button on the steering wheel. I have a 2007 Chevy Avalanche and Galaxy s3 and I could only receive/answer calls using the mute button and not make outgoing calls. Now I can!

Jal2011, Mine also shows 13-0506E. However it was 13-0506 without the E, prior to updating to this Beta firmware.

Side note...I have the Galaxy s3 and when I press the voice dial button, S-voice would activate. I turned s-voice off and by default the google voice would activate. My phone is updated to the most recent KitKat, however the old Google voice would always open when I select voice dial. Image below.

Voice search is the new google voice and to activate this using voice dial all you need to do is download Bluetooth Launch to your device, open it and assign it to

Google Search > com.google.android.googlequicksearchbox.VoiceSearchActivity

Still unable to bypass the lock screen when voice dial is pressed. When pressing voicedial on the steering wheel my phone responds and lock screen appears, however both my phone and the the bluestar go into limbo until I manually unlock my phone.

For the past few days now, the steering wheel button mutes the phone call and I have to disconnect my phone from bluetooth. I now need to put the phone to my ear.

I am having multiple issues
Iphone4
1 drive my iTunes audio music stream is quiet, but I tune radio is extra loud. Next drive my itune is good, but I can not answer a call, next drive, my phone answers but the voice does not transfer to car audio

you can talk about 4-5 minutes fine. Then it starts dropping out. About every 5 seconds in and out.
