Voice clarity

I installed my costar in a 08 Cadillac srx. when I make a call the majority of the time the person I am talking to has difficulty hearing me. I can hear them fine - loud and clear. my phone is a Samsung galaxy SIII and my carrier is Verizon. Any suggestions how to eliminate this issue?
