I just picked up a 2005 Deville with the base sound system w/ a 6 CD changer in the glove box. I tend to use my phone heavily for bluetooth audio streaming in the car, and I am hoping to get this same setup in this car. The base system does not have an AUX input that would be needed for the headphone output on a BlueStar. I was wondering if anyone knows if you could hijack some of the wiring from the CD changer to use for an AUX input. I could leave the changer in there as it will still need to provide the serial data to show it as being in the system, but could the audio lines be spliced into a sort of AUX input that could be used for the BlueStar? That way I would only have to switch to the changer on the HU to listen to streaming. If this is not an option, how else would I get stereo audio to the speakers?
