Is unit compatible with my 2003 Suburban, had the digital upgrade done to Onstar before stopped using it?

Yes, BlueSTAR is compatible with 03 suburban.

Thanks mrcostar! Just ordered unit today, coming tomorrow.Its that simple, unplug the 2 plugs and plug them into it? 2 sided taped and stick to onstar module? Will it fit there and not interfere with glove box?

Yes, that's all there is to it. The unit is relatively small and should easily fit behind the glove box.
You can tie-wrap it or tape it in place, but most people just tuck or wedge it in a corner somewhere.
